Question / Help OBS with Mac + VMWare Fusion?

Hi all,

I use a Mac and I'm considering using OBS to stream. Ideally I'd like to use something like VMWare Fusion instead of Boot Camp because I'd like to be able to pop in and out between Windows and Mac applications. Can OBS record the screen / apps in Mac OSX while running in a virtualized Windows environment?

We are going to have an actual native mac version within the next few months for testing anyway, so if possible just hold out.
