Bug Report OBS Windows 8.1 dropped frames

My device is 17 3770K, 8GB RAM, Radeon 7770, capture card Avermedia Live Gammer HD and WINDOWS 8.1 Internet 20/20

In Windows 7 everything works great. When I installed Windows 8.1 OBS started to lose frames. Status in small window every few seconds is red and lost frames (~2-3%). All drivers are Current. What could be the reason?

Hey dude,

I had this on Window 8.1 - 2 things that I needed to do with mine - it might be the same for you? :)

1) Windows had installed some network card drivers itself during an update (sneaky). I rolled back the drivers for the network card. (also worth visiting your motherboard manufacturers site to force the install of their drivers)

2) If you have the Asus AI Suite (Don't know if you have an ASUS motherboard or not) turn off "Network AI Control"

I did according to the recipe. Still not working.

This is not the fault of the network card or the program. X-split on this computer works well. This OBS has a problem.
