Question / Help OBS+Windows 10 encoding issues.

Hey everyone!

I seem to have some issues with my OBS recording setup that arose after my OS install of Windows 10 Pro [Insider].

Originally, back on Windows 7, I recorded all my videos in 1080p 60FPS 2.5mb/s which was great! The quality was high and I never saw any issues. For this, I used the NVENC encoder with my GTX 960 GPU which does a great job of encoding, and rarely used my CPU as it can't even encode on the easiest settings for it.

Now, I have the exact same settings as before, although now I have scaling issues, resulting in small blocks to appear around the video in fast-paced scenes and aritfacting to occur.
This also occurs with my CPU as I managed to get a few seconds of footage before getting the red "high CPU encoding" message of doom.

No issues can be seen within the OBS preview screen either.

Some examples:

I shall put all the files, including screenshots of my OBS settings and more examples, into a shared Dropbox folder, which I shall link here:

Here's my log file (I think): https://gist.github.com/anonymous/3f350301c710ee436583

If you didn't see by the forum section this is within and from the screenshots, this is OBS, not Multiplatform, as I don't really like the new version and it does not yet support NVENC encoding.

Do let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks!

I am having the same issue on Windows 10. Main difference is that I am not using NVENC, strictly CPU for encoding
