Question / Help OBS will not work on Intel HD Graphics (Ironlake)

Hi, I have an Asus K52F laptop that I use to stream every once in a while. It has an Intel Pentium p6200 (I know, weak.) 6gb of memory, 650gb hard disk, and Ironlake Intel HD Graphics, and it's OS is Windows 7 pro x64. It used to work just fine, but now it suddenly claims that directx 10 is unsupported even though this particular graphics chipset supports that instruction set just fine. What should I do? Nothing seems to solve it, not even newer drivers, modded drivers, etc. Thanks.

Here's a log file:

Error: Could not initialize DirectX 10 on Intel(R) HD Graphics Modded. This error can happen for one of the following reasons:

1.) Your GPU is not supported (DirectX 10 is required - note that many integrated laptop GPUs do not support DX10)
2.) You're running Windows Vista without the "Platform Update"
3.) Your video card drivers are out of date

If you are using a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus or AMD Switchable Graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on the high performance GPU in your driver settings.

It requires HARDWARE support for 10.1, not just 10.0
And the procesor is definitely too weak.

Well, I was planning on breathing a bit of new life into it by upgrading the microprocessor to an i5-540m.would that help at all?
