Question / Help OBS White noise bug/issue

There is a white noise, or loud background noise of static, even when i mute my mic its still there, i have nothing else running whatsoever. and i don't really like using microphone noise gate because you can still here the loud background noise when i talk. Anyone know how to fix this?

Also, try using the rear mic input, not the one on the front.

I'm guessing you have a laptop...I meant if you have a desktop PC there is usually a mic input in the rear and the front.

Maybe try a different USB port. Maybe that port has some noise in it. did you try the DSP thing?

no, i tried all ports, and the dsp thing degrades the mic quality by a long shot.
