Hey guys,
I have a problem with the webcams in OBS, and I really don't understand anymore.As a little introduction, I have been working in the IT for over 7 years now. 2 years software and 5 years hardware, so you can assume my knowledge exceeds above average.
This is the problem:
I have 2 pc's
Whenever I connect 3 webcams through OBS on pc 1, it will only work with 2 webcams.Whenever I connect 3 webcams on pc 2, it will work with 3 webcamsThe webcams I own are:
the 2 pc's are different concerning hardware.
PC 1:
Things I have tried:
It sometimes shows me the footage of the third webcam, but OBS then crashes.
PLEASE, help me out.

- Microsoft LifeCam Cinema
the 2 pc's are different concerning hardware.
PC 1:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
- RAM: 16gb ddr4 3200mhz dual-channel
- GPU: GTX 550 TI
- Motherboard: ASRock B450m Pro4
- OS: Windows 10, 2H20 update
- CPU: Intel Core i5 (Some older model, 3rd gen)
- RAM: 4gb ddr3 1333mhz dual-channel
- GPU: MSI gt610 v2
- Motherboard: An Asus (Don't have the exact model at hand at the moment)
- OS: Windows 10, 2H20 update
Things I have tried:
- Use both 32 and 64 bit version of OBS
- Update to the lates version of OBS
- Run OBS without webcam drivers
- Run OBS with webcam drivers
- Use the webcam drivers that come with Windows
- Use the webcam drivers from the manufacturer
- Run without any drivers
- Try with a different webcam than the Microsoft one
- Check the OBS logs for any weird data, none found
