OBS Virtual Camera not showing up in "sources" in `wpctl status`

I'm on Fedora 41 running the OBS flatpak. When I enable a virtual camera (was testing using a browser source with an IP webcam through my phone). It does not automatically show up under "sources" in `wpctl status`. I have to manually restart pipewire or wireplumber using `systemctl --user restart pipewire` or `systemctl --user restart wireplumber`. Why is this the case. Is this perhaps some sort of flatpak issue with pipewire?

It looks like I have found an exact issue of what I am facing here which appears to be superceded by/a duplicate of this issue. Appears to be an issue with v4l2loopack in some way.
