Question / Help OBS video out of sync

I record gaming videos and recently (starting a few weeks ago) all video that I capture slowly drifts out of sync.

Here is what I use for my capture process.

OBS for game video from my PC.
Audacity for audio from my mic.
Canon EOS Rebel T4i for video of my face.

Here is my issue in more detail. The video from OBS starts off perfectly in sync; and slowly starts drifting to being shorter and shorter.

The way I have everything setup everything starts within 1 second of each other, I clap to get an audio feed that I can recognize from all 3, turn off the mic from OBS, then continue.

The video from my camera and the sound from audacity end up being perfectly in-sync during edittting, but after one hour of recording the OBS video (which still contains 100% of the video itself) ends up being 20 seconds shorter, and completely out of sync. In cases where I'm only recording for 10 minutes it's very unnoticeable but still there, but over the last week or so the differences have gotten WAY worse.

I've tested under low stress environments (just recording from a window with some music playing so that my video card, and CPU have less than 5%) and the issue is still just as bad so it isn't a CPU issue.

My rig
Windows 7
MSI 980 GTX Gaming Twin Frozr
Intel i7-4770K processor
16 gigs of ram.

An update to the issue.

I ran a stop watch along side audacity and OBS...Audacity and the stopwatch stayed completely at the same timespent, OBS slowly drifted out of sync (it's recording time, and the time of the final video), with the stopwatch.

Now here's where things get interesting; OBS actually captured the stopwatch perfectly, starting at 0 and ending at 15 minutes, but the video is only 14:22 seconds..but I'm not closer to solving this myself.

Due this falling to the fourth page...and being completely unanswered..I'm going to bump it because the problem persists.

Are you recording in VBR? Also, why aren't you recording your mic in OBS since you have that option? Are you using standard OBS or OBS Studio?

Standard OBS, I'm saving to FLV, and converting with Handbreak, and I record to audacity because I need a separate audio stream for editing purposes. I'm using CBR, and CFR is enabled as well.

Also, regardless if I record to Audacity or not, it still is out of sync with the camera.

Nope. Also, the FLV file I also shorter. It's not the converted file, even the original FLV is shorter.

It's shorter than the camera video and the audacity audio. The camera and audacity line up after being synced at the beginning, the gameplay and the other two can start off synced but within 30 seconds can be noticeably different.

But no different ways of converting have had 0 change as the FLV itself is also shorter (can't get more data out of nothing you know).
