Question / Help OBS video freezes after few seconds then skips to the end.

It appears that your PC is having some issues recording, as it's dropped about 1/2 of the frames it tried to record, and many of the rest of the frames are late.
You could try recording at a smaller resolution, see if that helps?
Also, try not using monitor capture, because it can be pretty taxing. Try instead to use window or game capture.
It might, unfortunately, be that your computer is too weak to record.

What resolution downscale would you recommend that I try?

I'm not entirely sure how well your CPU performs, but I'd guess start at 1.50 and work down. 1.50 would give you a decent resolution.
Though if you're recording game footage, I'd suggest playing the game in windowed mode at the resolution you want, and setting the OBS' base resolution to the resolution you've chosen. That's what I did before I built my new PC.

When I took monitor capture off and put on game capture; and resolution down scaled to 1.5 it worked perfect. Video is not as laggy now too. Thanks
