OBS using massive amounts of GPU even when at idle

Hey this is happening a lot and causing me to end most streams early now, I have OBS.live I don't know if this makes a difference or not but my GPU usage is going to 100% after about 45-60 mins of a stream and makes me go from 60-70 fps on DCS to 10-20fps and my camera will also freeze up, my temps are staying at about 48 degrees C so that isnt changing much but it is very bizzare for OBS to go from 2% for gpu encoding to then 40-50%. I've looked online but there doesnt seem to be any definitive answers that fix the problem if anyone knows what is wrong it would be very much appreciated for any help :)

Thanks,
Riles.

Reduce the complexity of the browser entry itself.

I know i probs seem very dumb to you but its using 40% even at idle after 45 mins ish of a stream if i reset my pc it goes back to a normal%, and i dont know which browser source is actually the one that is taking so much, how do i turn the hardware acceleration off? and by reduce the complexity do you mean something technical or just make it less complex because all it is is either an overlay from stream elements, a now playing thing ma bobor a rotating feed

go in to scene's one by one
example:
screate a clean scene called "Nothing here"
Activate Scene "Stream Starting"
go into settings of source "Starting Base"
scrool down and make a check on "disable source if not visible"
go to scene "Nothing here"
check Load
if still there go back to the prev scene and repeat the step with the next browser source
