Question / Help OBS Usage

How much CPU should I be using, 720p, 2800 bitrate, 30fps.. it's currently around 20-23% and I'm trying to make sure it's in a good spot since Diablo seems to be pretty demanding with cpu. I have a 4690k with 6850, and say I upgraded to a 280, would that help at all with offloading some usage?

At the cost of losing video quality with a same given bitrate, you can change the x264 CPU preset or use a hardware encoder like Intel's Quick Sync or Nvidia's NVENC.
