I'm getting this error:

Texture->Map failed: 0x887a0005 0x887a0006

Your video card or driver froze and was reset. Please check for possible hardware / driver issues.

Anyone know how I should tackle this error? I was streaming last night just fine it started acting up today.

Nope. Everything should be clocked at the factory settings.. It's weird because I was able to stream for about 5 hours last night but now when I try to preview the stream it gives me the error. Only thing I changed from last night was trying to use the Untamed Now Playing text file. But I've reset OBS and the error still occurs.

If you don't know you probably aren't using it, it's under advanced settings for x264.

Oh, ok. Any other suggestions? :o

Oh, I forgot to include this but I also get a notification on Windows that states that my Intel HD Display Driver has stopped responding but has recovered. Could that be a problem? I already forced OBS to run with my Nvidia GPU through the driver settings.

It sounds like your GPU is definitely unstable if Windows is also reporting such errors. Not really sure what would cause the Intel GPU to be unstable other than possible driver issues or overheating.

I guess it's a driver issue then, because I have a cooling pad and my laptop has reasonable temps. I wonder why this issue is popping up. It was working fine yesterday.

I tried updating the Intel HD graphics, but when it didn't work I rolled back the drivers through the Device Manager settings.

I have been having this exact problem recently, I play and stream alot of dayZ and I get this error alot whenever I am hit by a zombie or shot.

Its like when the screen flashes for a split second it crashes the drivers. I thought it was just an unstable build of dayz sa but it did it tonight on dayz mod.

Doesn't matter, a lot of cards come pre-overclocked and aren't necessarily stable at the speed they were sold at.

I have also seen the same problem. I am still testing but I have had some success by changing the encoding settings from x264 to Nvida NVENC, then in the Advanced settings you can change the Video settings (NVENC Preset) to what ever works for you.
