Question / Help OBS Suddenly choppy. No idea why.

I fixed it I think. I figured that it may be due to how I changed from running skyrim via files, to virtual. So, I switched from game capture to monitor capture. no issues so far.
 
Apparently using Monitor Capture with an Nvida card causes the drivers to freeze. This is unacceptable.

Can anyone help me fix my game capture or am I talking to myslf?
 
Apparently I am talking to myself. Anyway a bigger issue is that with Skyrim, eventually my drivers stop responding and crash OBS (and my monitors temporarily) but skyrim might not crash. I am fairly certain that Skyrim is using up VRAm and clashing with OBS once it uses too much.

My question is this: Is there a way to have dedicated vram space for OBS so it can't be starved? Or anything else I may be able to do?
