Hi All,
I recently got a gaming laptop and external monitor to start playing PUBG / FPS. As an avid twitch fan I began to try to stream which DRASTICALLY lowered the gaming performance with frame spikes any time there was action. So I am purchasing a gaming desktop to game on, and want to stream off the laptop and want to make sure the two will work:
Laptop will be for streaming: MSI GL62M - 7REX
Intel Core i7
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 2GB GDDR5
16GB DRAM, 128 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD
Gaming PC:
iBUYPOWER Gaming Computer Desktop PC AM901Z Intel i7-7700 3.6GHz, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 3GB, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB 7200RPM HDD, Wifi, Win 10, RGB, VR Ready
I also plan on buying a Razer Ripsaw USB 3.0 Game Stream and Capture Card as after researching that seems to be the only way to send it to the Laptop (I can't install a capture card internally on my laptop).
Will this set up work or am I missing anything? I am looking for optimal gaming and streaming.
