Question / Help OBS Studio recording/streaming quality is fuzzy

I am a youtuber (very small) that wants to record videos for my friends and others to enjoy. I am very bad with computers and probably the worst person with them tbh, but it seems that what I am doing something is wrong. I try to record 1920x1080 60fps but when i look at the picture, it looks all blurry and not as crisp as it should. The quality seems to be worse than what i am actually seeing on my other screen. Does anyone have any advice they might have, any advice would be kind and helpful. I have tried different resolutions and different outputs such as 2560x1440 but they all look the same or worse. If someone can explain it in the easiest way (since i suck with computers) i will be thankful.

google:
OBS +x264 +1080p +bitrate

for 1080p you need atleast 6000kbps - but i would recommend 10000kbps for streaming
when you record local you can push this to 25000kbps or simply use CRF 20 (or 18; files get big)

Im sorry to be an idiot, but can you explain what you said to me any easier, like i said i am terrible with computers, but i feel like my setup should be able to handle what i want to record.

Start with the Auto-Configuration Wizard in the Tools menu. It will ask a couple of questions and test your internet connection.

Then read the Overview guide. You need to know what the above terms mean in order to get help and understand the help you get.

I did the Auto-Configuration Wizard tool and nothing changed, i checked the overview guide and it told me the same thing that i was already doing. No matter what i do the screen seems to be fuzzy and the letters of words seem to be blurred during the recording.

sorry man, new to this. So just the link and the problem i am having?

Under the "advanced" tab, change color format from "full" to "partial".
"full" can make recordings seems fuzzy and "desaturated"
Most videoplayers expect "partial" format.

I tried that and nothing worked. On the monitor i record it is Perfect quality, then if i look at the other monitor what OBS is recording and i look at the lettering it seems blurry. Then when i get into a game, lets say CS:GO The game is running smoothly (when recording) but i look at OBS and it is very blurry.

Is this at 1080p recording settings?

That is most likely due to rescaling. If you look at video recorded in a resolution lower than the native resolution, it will look slightly blurry.
However, even video recorded at 1440p with optimal bitrates can look slightly blurry, since video recorded with x264/H.264 will never be as good as the true source.

Ok, first, Windows is out of date. Update it and turn off game mode.

08:31:18.178: Windows Version: 10.0 Build 17134 (revision: 523; 64-bit)

08:31:18.178: Windows 10 Gaming Features:
08:31:18.178: Game DVR: On

Turn that off. Instructions are in the signature.

Other than that a log needs to include a recording session to be really valuable, this one is just application startup. The necessary bits in the log are only written when recording or streaming stops.

Yeah, maybe but it shouldn't be this blurry at all. It is almost a complexly different resolution than i am recording.
