Just a little post to share my last experience on a big pro event in the United Arab Emirates (World Government Summit).
Here is the config:
- Main machine (MacBook Pro, Win 10, OBS 29)
- 2 display outputs in 3840x1080@50fps (merged in 7680x1080 with AMD EyeFinity)
- OBS Canvas in 7680x1080
- FInal display on a LED wall in 6400x1000@50fps
- Type of medias : ProRes, H264 (full LED wall resolution), PNG, MP4 and many other things.
All the show has been automated and timed with fantastic Advanced scene Switcher plugin.
A second machine is deployed as a spare / mirror machine. Same hardware, software. The main OBS control the slave OBS remotely (local network) again with
Advanced scene Switcher plugin.
Everything works nearly perfectly (and on machines not quite adapted...)
So I would like to say thanks to all developers of this project. You have made a piece of software (and a huge ecosystem around) that has completely its place in the professional event environment!
