Question / Help OBS Studio dropping frames (network?), while OBS Classic doesn't

I am also getting dropped frames in OBS studio and no dropped frames in OBS Classic. I've tried multiple bitrates from 3000 to 2000 kbps and the result is the same with OBS studio about 10 or so minutes in I drop frames for about half a minute then it goes back to normal. Then 10 minutes later or so it does the same thing.

In OBS Classic I get 0 dropped frames. I would like to use OBS Studio since I like some of the features better but I guess until the networking features of OBS classic are ported over I'll have to hold off.

Wondering why this affects some and not others?

I posted about this issue as well just earlier today, but it got no attention. Happened to find this post through google and saw that R1CH said he's going to port OBS Classic's network features to OBS Studio? Has this been done yet? I've tried so many broadcasting software, so many stream providers.. But nothing compares to that feeling of OBS Studio + Twitch.tv. Hope you guys can give this issue a little more attention, for now i feel as if it's out of the end-user's reach.

Please post a log.

OBS Studio 18.0.1 has both the new network code and low latency options available in Settings -> Advanced if you are having issues. Make sure you follow all other troubleshooting steps first, though.

Thanks a lot, the new network code and low latency options solved the Problem for me.

I see the option to click to "Enable New Networking Code"
and
"Low latency mode" ... I have these checked now..
but WHERE is the option to set TCP Window size to 4M ?

The new networking code does enable dynamic receive buffer (and thus window size) scaling.
