Question / Help OBS studio does not generate log profiles

Hi,

I would like to send you a log profile but, the thing is that, any time I try to generate a new one, the folder is always empty. I follow all the steps, I record for some seconds, help, log profile, upload current log profile. But it does not work.

What could be going wrong?

You run OBS for a while and it never records a log file? Go to Help > Open Log Folder... nothing in there?

Yes that is. I don't know why, I do everything but the folder is always empty, I cannot generate any log file and I need one to solve a little issue with the quality of the video. What am I doing wrong?

Mmm Hi again, I realised that I was using OBS Studio, I downloaded Obs classic and I have the log file.

Whats the difference between OBS classic and studio? why couldn't I get a log file in studio?

I haven't switched over to OBS Studio yet, so don't really have experience with it to know. You might try starting a thread on the OBS Studio specific area and ask them. It sounds to me like it might be a permissions issue, perhaps?
