I decided to update to 0.16.5, assuming it would have less chances of crashing (I now cannot escape this issue, even by uninstalling fully and reinstalling the old version I had before).
When I close OBS Studio, it will crash, this crash with freeze my system for 30 seconds where my CPU usage stays at 100%, I then get this debug dialog:
The only way to not have this happen, is to remove any currently inactive captures in any of my scenes. This includes any game captures, or any video capture devices. The latter do not have to be inactive for the program to freeze and crash. If I have either my webcam or capture card in a scene, even if they're currently active (so the webcam is on etc) it will crash, if I have a game capture pointing to a window that doesn't currently exist, it will crash.
There are two OBS studio has crashed dialogs, the freeze happens between clicking close on the first and the second appearing.
(also, mind making the "Did you remember to include a log file if you're having a problem?" link open in a new tab by default?, I had to rewrite this because the thread creation didn't cache properly, most other forums I've used had this kinda stuff just pop up in a mini window or open in a new tab.
