Question / Help OBS streaming and recording randomly started freezing/hitching.

I posted this a few days ago but didn't have any logs or video to show the issues I have been having with OBS so I figured I would repost with proper info.

For a few of my friends and I OBS has stopped producing videos and steaming as well as it used to. In fact the videos are quite horrible with constant freezes/choppiness every few seconds but the quality looks fine. I have tried numerous settings even though the settings I had worked great for ages. I even reinstalled OBS in hopes it would start working properly again like it used to but no luck.

I know my way around OBS fairly well and the settings I am using should and did work great. This is more of a heads up to the devs so they can fix it.

Fraps recordings come out fine btw

Strange, your log output seems OK. Does the problem still occur even if you record at an absurdly low resolution like 640x360?

No, the exact isn't issue isn't happening to you. Make your own thread with details and a log.

Yes. And my gameplay is proper smooth. No slow downs. It's only the recording that is choppy

I can say that Battlefront does it worse than other games but they are all doing it. I just picked battlefront so the issues was easiest to see.

Ah, SLI is probably the cause. OBS and SLI don't play very well together. Try disabling SLI, and also try disabling the overclock if it continues (even if the overclock is stable, overclocks can cause timing issues and OBS is very dependent on accurate system timers).

I have been running SLI and my overclock with OBS since OBS came out. This issue has started in the last 3 months or so and I can assure you it's not on my end. Well it could be but it would have to be new GPU drivers and or a windows update that is causing the issue as nothing else has changed in my system.
