Question / Help OBS stops recording randomly after 6-10 minutes

The only information I can find out about it stopping is when people have CPUs that aren't strong enough and it stops recording almost immediately, but my recording will last anywhere from 6 to 10 minutes before it stops. The filesize doesn't break 200mb, and I'm absolutely positive my CPU is strong enough (I've streamed for hours before. It's a 3.7Ghz 8 core.)

I was wondering if there was some sort of internal file size limit or something that I could remove, or what exactly the problem was.

You should really be saving as flv. It's a far more reliable file format.

Also, post your logs from sessions where the recording terminated without you saying so.

(and double-check your hotkeys)
