Question / Help OBS sometimes loses the targeted window.

Hi,

I'm using OBS to stream a specific window. Its name is "VLC (Direct3D output)".
I play videos, using a python script, and sometimes, when a new video comes, the exact same window opens (it closes the previous VLC media player and opens a new one with a different media), but OBS loses the focus on it. So, I have to manually right click "Properties", then "OK", because the targeted is still the same, "VLC (Direct3D output)". But if I don't do this, all it displays is a black screen.

This is a very annoying problem for me, if anyone could help me about it, I'd be really grateful.
 
I know the problem comes from VLC, but would anyone have a fix for the moment? VLC's forum is almost as dead as this one Kappa
 
Because I have a python script that manages the whole playlist through VLC while being connected to a the Twitch chat. I can't communicate anything to OBS. That's why I switched to a VLC instance some time ago. And it works really well, unless when VLC starts doing crap and OBS loses focus on its window :(
