Hello

I want to set my OBS to be clear and not lagging for CSGO game

Can someone help me ?

My Net speed is 20MBPS, upload speed is 5MBPS
i5 4440 3.0Ghz, 8GB ram, 1TB harddisk
Nvidia GTX 750 ti 2GB

am having problems setting OBS as am new :[
What are the best settings for 720p video quality without lag ?

My monitor reso is 1280x1024, i cant find 720 in reso list :[

CPU Advice
  • Set FPS to 30
  • Consider setting FPS to 60 if you have spare CPU power for improved quality
Game Advice
  • Try to aim for the highest bitrate possible for high motion games
  • Use game capture if possible for maximum performance.
  • Use window capture with Aero enabled if game capture is unavailable.
Network Advice
  • Your upload speed is sufficient for 720p / 1080p
  • Enable CFR for compatibility with streaming services
  • Enable CBR for improved stream stability
  • Recommended max bitrate: 3500
  • Recommended buffer size: 3500

you did read his question ... didnt you? he had quite some questions but the most important would be his resolution question

theres no 1280x720 available on a 4:3 screen you would either have to run a custom resolution or simply use no downscale at all since your resolution isnt really high anyway

everything else a bitrate between 2000-3000 is by far enough 60 fps isnt really a great recommendation on an i5 but leaving it on 30 should be fine
