Can someone make me settings for OBS. Here is the specfifications:

use the defaults and post your logfile. Then I will tell you what to modify for your system:

For local recording only, set bitrate back to 1000 (as this will not be needed then custom buffer size to 0. next uncheck CBR, next change preset to superfast.


after you do that, record for a minimum of 5 minutes with the game active and playing then post another logfile.

change bitrate to 1000 (not necessary but this lets you know that it is not used)
change custom buffer to 0 (this will allow bitrate to follow your CRF
change x264 preset to superfast (will make it easier on your CPU but files will be bigger

Again, you are not reading everything I am writing.

change x264 preset to superfast

Second, sometime between the first logfile and the second one, you disabled aero. please uncheck disable aero in the video tab as well.

if you would like to make this simpler, please don't experiment with settings that aren't mentioned. If I don't mention them, it probably means that the current settings you are using are fine.

Aero needs to be enabled so uncheck "disable aero" so no.

video tab of OBS. you will also have to use an aero enabled theme in windows.

two more things, with windows 7 only, monitor capture has many issues. use window capture or game capture.

If you have to use monitor capture. use a game capture instead and point the program to dwm.exe (which should capture your primary monitor).


Second, in that scene, you have your webcam added twice. remove one of them as both are unnecessary.
