Question / Help OBS RTSP stream record is blocky low res

The quality of the recorded video from RTSP stream is poor and blocky. When viewed from VLC & ffplay the stream looks good. But from OBS' recorded video it looks blocky and low res.

Is there some setting I can change?

The recorded flv containts exactly the same h264 data that was sent to out via rtmp.
There is no way for it to have a diffrent quality.
