Hi
I am running into a problem with OBS where if I start transferring data to/from my PC over the network OBS starts lagging (render lag). The whole scene goes choppy and unusable. I am still trying to troubleshoot but am reaching out to see if anyone has had this problem and whether they found a solution.
I have just updated my network drivers to the latest ones from Intel but that didn't seem to make a difference.
If I limit the transfer speeds over the network using NetLimiter, even to as low as 10mbit/sec, OBS still lags. Downloading/uploading files using something like Chrome doesn't seem to be affecting it though.
My stream PC can send data over the network and not suffer this render lag.
Update:
So it is only when data leaves my PC over the network, whether I start a transfer from the affect computer or start it from another computer on the network. As soon as data starts being sent from the PC, OBS render lag begins. So strange.
Any one any ideas? Thanks.
