OBS registering desktop audio but not playing it through stream.

I noticed this issue recently. Whenever I stream there is no desktop audio playing through the stream. OBS is registering that audio is playing as well. My mic gets picked up and played though. I have tried a bunch of different settings and what not including making sure that the audio tracks were properly selected. I honestly don't know what to try at the point and I don't want to just reinstall quite yet. Does anyone know any solutions to my issue?
