OBS refuses to install

hello! im trying to install obs on windows 10, but it freezes file explorer when i try to run it. i cannot post a log, as i have yet to install it. any ideas?

It could be your firewall or AV is blocking it.. Try allowing it through any security software you may have... Other then that, I don't know what else to suggest.. Others here may know the solution if what I suggested doesn't work..

Ive checked windows security and mcafee, but to no avail. I guess ill wait for anotherresponse.

What are the hardware specifications of the machine you are trying to run OBS on, free disk space, memory, graphics card etc. This information may give someone a clue.
