OBS Recordings not complete

I was recording today for about an hour and a half and I went back to play the video and some parts were cut out. This has happened before but I just tried my luck this time. Is there any way to fix this or recover the parts of the recording that I lost. Any help would be appreciated.

I realized that I had the spacebar as a hotkey and it was pausing the video. lol, gotta be careful next time. For some reason though, when I press the spacebar the settings come up, and it's not in the hotkeys section.

Because of how windows behaves with general accessibility, pressing the spacebar will click any currently highlighted button. If you recently went to your settings window, then the settings button is most likely still highlighted for accessibility.

OBS hotkeys should be set as keys or key combinations that are not used in normal operation (i.e. F1-F12, or keys with modifiers, such as ctrl-alt-K).
