Im Using an El Gato 4kx capture card hooked up to my Xbox and iMac. My iMac is a 2020 Retina 5k w/ Intel 8core i7 CPU, AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8GB graphics card, 40 GB 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM, macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, and 809GB of HD storage available. I only have the one source added to my scene which is my capture card. I only record while I play, not stream and record simultaneously. I open the preview on fullscreen using my built in Retina display. There are zero delay or frame drop or lagging issues while I'm playing. but when I open the recordings up to view and edit and clip, the video skips like it dropped all the frames for 3 full seconds in between frames it actually captured. audio plays fine but video plays back like I just took a screenshot every 3 seconds and compiled them into a slideshow over the audio file lol. please help. and yes I have opened the recording files in multiple different applications and softwares for viewing and/or editing, including Mac Preview, CapCut, Adobe Express, Quick Time Player, etc.
