Question / Help OBS recording is very choppy

Hi, i'm new to this and looking for some help with my settings? at the moment i have it on 2000 bitrate, 25FPS, 1280x720 screen resolution with no downscale and no matter what ive changed my gameplay is still choppy.

my laptop specs are:
Processor: intel core i5- 4210@ 1.7GHz 2.40GHz
6GB RAM
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor

thats the main components i think i need to mention, please let me know if i need to add any information or if you have any solutions, thanks!

instead of doing rather useless things, please post a logfile so people can actually help you


due to the extremly weak cpu i can already tell you that you have to run ultrafast preset and maybe even downscale (low wattage cpu + hyperthreaded dualcore)
 
Woah I oughta fite you m8. Calling my things useless. Let this cheeky lad help you now, I have no idea how to read a log.
 
due to the fact that your cpu is actually as underpowered as i already mentioned you are quite limited

the other question is do you mean choppy gameplay on the recording or choppy gameplay of your actual game?
