Hi, first off thank you for looking and hopefully you know how to help.
I just recorded twice with no file output. I recorded twice because the first time when I saw no file I thought I had made some mistake I was not aware of. That time I used my hotkey like usual. Second time, I had OBS up and hit Record on there and then went into my game. After I had finished I hit my hotkey again to finish the recording but checking none the less if it had stopped. It didn't so I hit Stop recording. Then there was TWO small recordings of 2 and 3 seconds but there was no audio on and I couldn't see the video as my Quicktime doesn't let me do that but that's another story. But anyways seeing as I couldn't see the video I don't know if there was a video. But I recorded for more than 25 minutes so the file should be way longer and the first time around it did the same so I think it's OBS that's at fault. I checked my settings but nothing was out of order and everything was set like usual.
I recently updated the software but can't remember if it's before or after the last time I recorded as that was a week ago. I don't know how to do a log file as I'm still learning a lot about recording and PCs (recent Mac-PC convert) but if anybody needs it and can tell me how, I will be happy to do it :)
If you know what happened and how to fix it please help me. I have a youtube channel that I really enjoy and I have really enjoyed OBS so far. I don't wanna switch to anything else.
