Hey there,
so i've recently bought a capture card to stream a bit better from my ps4, and so far it works good. Yesterday -however- i encountered a strange problem.
I have the targeted bitrate set to 720kbits, so a bitrate between 600 and 900 is okay. But for whatever reason, OBS started to randomly acting up, by ignoring that setting, and boosting the bitrate to about 12000-19000 kbits. Naturally, there was no way to stream with that, so i ended the stream quite frustrated.
I searched the web, and from what i found, the bitrate is basically influenced by quality settings and "how complicated the scene is".
Only problem is, it worked fine the last days with everything exactly the same - from quality to scene components. Even the game was the same.
Now, has anyone else encountered this, and can help me prevent that? I mean, thats kinda the whole point of giving users the option to enter a targeted bitrate, right?
Hope someone can help me, and thanks in advance.
P.S. i'm in uni right now, so if a log is really needed, i'll upload it once i'm home
