I've searched through the threads and can't seem to find any help. Those that seem to have my issue haven't received a response.
We record our church service on Sunday mornings and have a Canon camera that we use along with a small mic that's plugged into the laptop. Its not a big setup at all and doesn't drain the CPU in major anyway.
However, since about the end of last year, OBS will randomly take over the entire screen. We are then unable to access any of the other programes running. None of the keys will work except for ctrl-alt-del and sometimes F1. All that it shows are the preview and program screens, the rest is all blacked out. The strange thing is that it will continue to record and even when I use ctrl-alt-del (I just 'switch user' instead of do a hard reset), the recording is fine.
I've given OBS Admnistrative Rights and read something about HAGS been disabled? (I can't seem to find where to disable it in Graphics on Windows 11).
There are no crash reports because it does't technically crash. I've been using OBS since lockdown and this is the first time I've come across this.
I've seen a few fixes and I'm desperate enough to try them but I also don't know enough to be able to reverse anything I may do and then cause an even bigger problem.
