Question / Help OBS Quits Recording After a Few Seconds

Hello, I downloaded OBS about a week ago, and set my settings to whatever the people in certain tutorial videos I watched told me to.
However, I tried to record my desktop, as a test, to see if it would work. It would work, but would stop after 5 seconds of recording. I use a mac OS X 10.9.5, record with 60 FPS, 1000 bitrate, and 160 audio bitrate.
If you need my logs, please tell me how to bring them up on a Macbook! Thanks!

A log would help immensely.
This GIF shows a method to get one that should still work on a Macbook.

Then just post the link in here.

That log doesn't have a record attempt, so I can't get anything useful from it. Launch OBS, try to record something, then once it quits, do what the GIF shows and post the link here. Sorry to make you do it again.

The problem appears to be that virtually all (91.7169%) of the frames were skipped.
It doesn't look like the Macbook can handle recording very well with those settings.
I can suggest a few things:
1. Downscale the resolution further. You're recording 60fps at the 16:10 equivalent of 1080p.
2. If you're planning on recording a game, play it in windowed mode, and use window or game capture to capture it. I might also suggest playing it in a 16:9 aspect ratio window, and setting the base resolution to whatever you're playing it at (1280x720, 1600x900, etc.)
3. Try recording at 30fps

Try each of those things (and all of them at once).
