Hi,
On PC I recording videos OBS because its good quality for me and I recording in 1080p with 60 FPS but now I have problem, yesterday while I recording video in 1080p and 60 fps my cpu usage was around 50% (25% OBS, 22-25% game) Today I don't know what happend I start recording and OBS use 70-80% CPU 0.o When I uninstall OBS I trying delete OBS folder but they are in use so maybe this is a problem (file in use: OBS->Plugins->GraphicsCapture->GraphicsCaptureHook.dll)?
I don't know why anyone know what happened? I reinstalling OBS and nothing, I installed older OBS version and nothing, I download all new windows update and nothing, system recovery and nothing, copied obs folder from notebook (where obs working good) and nothing.

That's interesting. I got the same problem since a couple of weeks and also postet a thread here.

I could record normally with any setting I liked and now I have to scale down like hell to get a video without lags, because it says my CPU Usage is too high. I also tried "everything" out, but not the recovery yet.

As for the graphiccapturehook.dll you can delete it after a restart normally. Sometimes the game is somehow connected to it after using obs, so windows thinks, it's in use. Or something else, I don't really know.

But I really find it very interesting to read that someone has the same problem and I know it's very annoying when something suddenly stops working like it has before without any reason.

I can't remember that I changed anything, installed somethin in between .. I really tried hard to find out if it's another program that interferes ... but had no success. It's only the OBS with the 80% CPU ... no clue where the source is.

So what I did is, I checked if my OBS can use Quicksync and it does! CPU Usage is very low now but if you record with Quicksync the files become much bigger than with the x264 preset. So it still would be great if I could start recording again like I could a month ago .... but maybe you don't care about filesize, so you shoud try out, if Quicksync "solves" the problem for you, too^^
