Recently purchased the "VC500 Diamond One Touch Video Capture Device" and managed to hook it up to my CRT. Using "EZ Grabber" I managed to get what was shown on my CRT to be shown on my laptop. At this point using monitor capture I managed to see what was going on in the CRT without a problem in the preview, however OBS kept crashing so I updated my driver. After the driver update I can't see what's going on in the CRT in the preview stream however I can see the video without fail on my actual monitor. Is there anything I can do without buying a new capture device?
