Question / Help OBS Playing File Automatically on Startup

When I launch OBS version 23.2.1 in Windows 10 Pro it always automatically starts playing the video that is queued up in the first position instead of allowing me to start it up after I have clicked on the "Start Recording" button. Is there a way to keep OBS from playing the first media source automatically on launching?

Make a blank scene and put it first in your scene list. The video is autoplaying because when OBS launches, it launches the last used scene collection, and it has to open one scene. If a media source is in that scene, it will play.

I had not considered doing that. What a great idea! Thank you. I will give that a try.

I use the same hotkey (F10) for both Start Recording and Restart Media Source.
