Bug Report OBS picking up Avermedia LGHD HDMI audio as desktop source.

As the title says, OBS is picking up my LGHD HDMI input as the desktop device, even when I specifically set it to something else. This would normally not be a problem for me as I use a hardware mixer for audio and don't use the desktop device, but the sound goes through even if I mute the desktop device all together. Also, the LGHD audio is not even an option in the audio options, which makes it even stranger that my desktop device seems to be locked to it.

So far, the only fix is to set the LGHD audio source as "audio in" (the 3.5mm input) instead of HDMI, but that doesn't always seem to fix the problem. I'm on Windows 8.1 so that may be a contributor to the issue.

I'm really not sure of a permanent solution to this bizarre issue, so any input would be appreciated.

Are you sure you didn't select "Output audio to desktop" in the audio section of your LGHD source's properties window?

That's the thing. RECentral isn't even open, and the desktop device record volume is muted, yet it still manages to show up full blast in recordings and streams.

I mean the property window in OBS. Double-click on the LGHD source, then look in the bottom right area of the window that appears.

Woops, that was it. I forgot about that setting. Thanks! Still, it confused me that the audio preview for it was showing up under the desktop device preview. Oh well :P
