Hi guys, wondering if you can give some advice on this problem, or if anyone has had similar problems.
At the minute when I'm streaming using OBS/playing DayZ, the game will randomly freeze, to the point where I have to end it, but once ended, sometimes it won't actually load back up so I have to do a fresh restart.
To me it sound's like a hardware issue, but I cant seem to remember having the problem in previous version's of OBS, unless its just a coincidence. People have mentioned RAM, or too much CPU usage, but im not sure. This doesn't happen when im casually playing the game and not streaming though, which to me sound's like its either OBS settings, or my hardware can't handle doing it all at once. Although im literally speculating, I'm no good with this stuff.
Also worth mentioning, I streamed a couple of other games, maybe not long enough for this to happen, but again, no freezing or problems, but as I said, DayZ is the game I stream for long periods of time, and it seem's to happen randomly.
My spec:
CPU: i5-4670k
RAM: 8gb corsair vengeance
GFX: Radeon Sapphire r9 280x dual
Any advice, on if this happen's to anyone else, or even just advise on OBS settings, if it sounds like OBS I don't mind posting my current setting's to see if that is the problem.
