Question / Help OBS only shows Source in the Top Corner.

Hi there,

I'm using OBS to capture an Elgato. However, when I window Capture the Elgato, it makes a big source window but only shows the game in the top left corner of it. The rest of the window is empty. Even if I drag and move this big window, because the footage is only on the top left, it makes properly centering it impossible and the black void covers everything below it. Why is this happening and how can I fix this?

Add the Elgato as a video capture device instead.

Can't. OBS crashes as soon as I try to preview it. Also OBS Multiplat previously cut off the feed to the TV the elgato was connected to. Wanted to try it again anyway and now the Multiplat version doesn't recognize the Elgato as a Video Capture Device at all.

Driver issue. Go install/reinstall the latest drivers from https://www.elgato.com/en/game-capture-hd-support

If you install the 2.2.0 package the Elgato will show up only in 32-bit OBS.

If you install one of the 3.0 beta packages you'll need to add the video capture source to the corresponding version of OBS; 32-bit drivers and 32-bit OBS, or 64-bit drivers and 64-bit OBS.

Reinstalled the beta 3.0 for 32 and 64. Previewing showed it works and now I can get the footage fine, BUT as soon as I test streaming, I still run into one of the problems I mentioned: It cuts out all footage from to my TV and only shows my PS4 game on stream. I'm not running the Elgato software at the same time either. How do I get this both on my TV AND my stream?
