Hey!
I've been using OBS for sometime now and haven't had any problems with it except for detecting certain emulators.
Anyways today I was experimenting with the Elgato HD for PC recording and have come to the conclusion to use OBS just to capture the sound. It worked fine and it captured the audio with a blank video perfect!
I uploaded some videos to youtube and returned to my computer hours afterwards to do another practice run.
OBS does not detect any video including monitor. I turned off the Elgato and still nothing. It shows no preview at all. I THINK it is able to record the sound because it audio bar is moving, but when I stop the recording it crashes. While it's recording it also gives the "too long to encode" in red letters.
I've included the crash report.
Other notes: Tried to Decreased video quality
Videos put on separate dedicated hard drive
Tried with Elgato on and off
Tried to use Elgato as a source
Uninstalled and reinstalled (tips on completely removing it would be helpful)
