Question / Help OBS not updating after initial capture

I've been searching for this and can't find anything like what I'm experiencing.

The problem is that the image shown never updates beyond the initial capture, if it's the title screen, my desktop, whatever, the image is static. Audio will be normal but the screen never changes, even in the preview.

I've tried with both the 32 and 64bit versions, they both do the same thing. Hopefully it's just something simple I'm not seeing.

Thoughts?

I figured it out. I was using a window capture instead of game capture. Changed that and it works! I knew it was something simple I just overlooked.
