Question / Help OBS not showing Window Cap Stream Alerts...

Hey guys,

Iv bin having this trouble with obs for a while now.
When i stream i want alerts to come up when people follow or donate, iv used a few alert systems and none of them come up when i use them for window capture. its rather annoying because it works for anyone else. i do it the same way as any guide but doesnt show or come up when i test it.

Please can anyone help its very frustrating.

Does window capture work with other windows?

Is Aero enabled? It needs to be.

Are you running the game you're capturing in full screen mode? Window capture isn't going to work if a game is running in full screen because the stuff behind it isn't rendered. Windowed or borderless windowed mode with Aero enabled should work.

yes yes yes everything works apart from that.

if i run it in windows nothing.nothing pops up at all. it just shows the bar nothing else.

Stop using window capture for that, use something like the CLR browser source plugin.
