Question / Help OBS not responding [Solved]

I use to use OBS to stream on my old machine, and it worked fine, even though my old system was not very good.
I just bought a whole new system, and now I want to set up OBS and start streaming again.
I run OBS, went through the settings to adjust them to stream on Twitch, and then when I click preview stream so I can set up my scene, and it just sits there saying not responding, I left it for over 10 minutes and nothing happened, had to force close it.
I tried a second time, this time chaning the settings again, and same result, so I uninstalled, and reinstalled OBS, and tried to preview stream without touching anything, not responding.
I ran it again, and added some random images, and a game capture to my scene, no problems, clicked preview stream, and it says not responding.
I have made sure all drivers are up to date, and tried just about everything else I coudl think of.

My system:
i7 4790
MSI z97 Gaming 3
8GB RAM
Win10 64bit
AMD Radeon R9 380 Driver Version: 15.200.1062.1004
DirectX 11.2

Do all of your logs stop immediately after Using auxilary audio input: Microphone (Logitech Microphone (QuickCam)) appears? Does it make a difference if you select "Disabled" for your mic under Settings > Audio?

Wow, I didn't think of changing the mic, but I just did that. set it to disabled and it worked. Then I set it to the line-in on my sound card, and it works too. I feel like such a noob, thanks Sapiens, I'm off to hang my head in shame :)
