Question / Help OBS not recognising Elgato as a video capture device

i just got my elgato, plugged it in, went to the website, downloaded the hd capture software or whatever, opened up OBS, went to add it as a video capture device, but only my webcam is showing up in the drop down. i checked my devices on my pc, and it shows up there next to everything else usb thats plugged in. i dont know what the issue is
 
This will happen with the elgato if you use the 64bit version of OBS. You need to use the 32bit version of OBS instead.
