All of the microphones I've tried with OBS as of yesterday haven't been picking up any audio that OBS can recognize. Other programs can hear the same audio just fine, it's only OBS that can't. The correct microphone is registered in the Audio tab. Desktop audio has worked and still works.
All microphones were working perfectly for recording two days ago, but when I tried to stream later that night any microphone-related audio input would come out choppy and static-y. It sounded nothing like the way it sounded in normal recording. I changed a few settings around (can't remember which, I must have tried literally everything), and eventually no audio was getting picked up at all (green bar not moving). This has now carried over into normal recording, too.
Here's my log from last night: http://pastebin.com/6215xQ9Y
Here's my log from first stream: http://pastebin.com/TH8jhK8K
Here's my log from a working state: http://pastebin.com/AVDa8xBZ
There's a part in there that says:
"19:51:48: Using RTMP service: Twitch
19:51:48: Server selection: rtmp://live.twitch.tv/app
19:51:52: librtmp error: Problem accessing the DNS. (addr: live.twitch.tv, error: 11002)
19:51:52: Connection to rtmp://live.twitch.tv/app failed: Could not connect to server
19:51:52:
19:51:52: Problem accessing the DNS. (addr: live.twitch.tv, error: 11002)"
This showed up due to a powersurge that temporarily screwed up my router, pay no mind to it. The problems existed before this happened.
