Question / Help OBS not picking up game audio/chat

Hello everyone. I have started streaming recently, mainly with two games: one on my PC and the other on my Xbox One. I have no problems with the game on my PC in terms of audio and such; however, when I stream on my Xbox One, the game audio and game chat is not playing. My capture card is an Elgato Game Capture HD, and there was a setup that I found on the Elgato website that allowed the capture card to pick up game chat, and it works, just not through OBS and the stream.

Does anyone have a solution to my issue or any ideas that might help?

When you're streaming to Twitch directly on XB1? Or using a capture card from XB1?
I used to use the Elgato for 360 and XB1, but switched to Blackmagic Thunderbolt (Mac) because Elgato doesn't allow a direct capture into OBS yet.

I think someone said something about XB1's chat won't come through because of new privacy settings? That maybe assigning your controller to Guest will work?
