Question / Help OBS not detecting movement in BS Player or Windows Media Player

Hi all,

I am using OBS for more than a year now, it was always working fine. I was using it to capture screens from sports games in BS player and then making compilations out of it. The problem is that I have reinstalled my windows, downloaded obs again with the same settings but it is not detecting movement in any media player. Screen stays frozen in media players when capturing it, but whatever also I do when browse or something else it is recording just fine.

Can someone give me some advice for this? Or maybe recommend something else?
Thanks in advance!

Screen capturing media players is not supported very well due to hardware acceleration and overlays getting in the way.

I did not try VLC, gonna do it.

Weird about that hardware acceleration since I was doing everything I mentioned normally before windows reinstallation, I even had the same settings as know. Everything else is working, you can hear the sound, you can see the mouse but the picture inside Players is not moving, it's frozen.
