So I'm pretty sure I understand the purpose of the Noise Gate, but it doesn't seem to be working.
I enter the preview mode to look at where my ambient noise is, and then I put the close threshold above it (IE a smaller negative number). This means that if the noise level is lower than the DB level I have set, the microphone is supposed to turn off. It doesn't. It doesn't matter if I set the dB to 0, the microphone never turns off.
Edit: Nevermind, I don't understand why but it seems to be working as I understand it should now.
